You know that never ending "things I want to Make" sewing list that is a constant in the back of your head? Well I'm proud to say that I can check the learn how to make a quilt one off of my list (although I put it right back on the list because I have an idea for another list! Darn!!) But for now, I'm going to enjoy the two quilts that I made before I ship them both off to my two friends who just welcomed baby girls into their family. The quilt at the top is for baby Lily and I used the Quilt in a day tutorial from Cloud 9. The quilt at the bottom is for baby Angel and I used the 3-2-1 throw tutorial from Modern Organic Fabrics. Both of these tutorials were very easy to follow, and great for anyone who is new to making quilts. Now, I don't know if I'm getting ahead of myself, but I'm ready to take on a more challenging quilt pattern with a lot more detail. Oh the joys of Sewing! Such limitless opportunity : )
Happy Sewing!
Nice Work!!!

I really enjoyed your quilt photos and the links you shared for these quilts. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThank you guys! : )
ReplyDeleteHi There- loving to look through your blog for inspiration!
ReplyDeleteNoticed on a couple links (to the whale fabric and 3-2-1 tutorial) that your link has an extra "http://" in it, so came up with an error. I saw the problem, so was able to get to the sites, but figured I'd give you a heads up. Blogger automatically adds it, so I always have to make sure and delete it on blogger when I add a link.
Anyway, keep up the good work!
Thanks Rachel, I fixed it!
