Color Block Jewelry Roll in Turquoise and Purple

Thursday, June 23, 2011

After many, many, many, failed attempts at creating a jewelry roll, I finally came up with something I'm proud of. I've had this idea of making a jewelry roll in my head for about a year now, but I always kept putting it off.

When I'm traveling, I like to have lots of different options to choose from when it comes to wearing jewelry(who wouldn't right?), so I designed something that gave me plenty of room to do just that.

I snapped a picture of my failed attempts just to remind me that with patience and perseverance I will get there. With anything I do.

I was going to keep this one, but my Mom's Birthday is this Saturday so I'm going to ship this one off to her. You will have to stay tuned to see the one I make for myself....AGAIN!

So what about you guys? Is there something that you've been dying to make but just haven't got around to it yet?

  4. Love the opening illustration, for you blog. This morning up sewing for my 2 year old. Made an outfit from a king size pillowcase (thrift store find 75 cents). She seems to like it. Will try to post a picture of it.

    Happy sewing!!
