Out with the old...In with the New

When I first started sewing about 3 years ago, the first book I purchased was the Last-Minute Patchwork and Quilted Gifts Book by Joelle Hoverson.  One of the very first sewing projects I wanted to make from her book was the pincushion. It took me three years to finally make one.  It didn't come out quite how I wanted it to but, it still makes me happy : )

  1. Hi,
pin cushion is very pretty, what did you stuff it with, did you place some sort of weight inside? Happy sewing!

  2. Hi Pazia! The instructions in the book said to use natural cotton stuffing but I didn't have any of that on hand so I used poly-fil and stuffed it firmly. Let me know if you make one. I'd love to see it!

    Happy Sewing!

  3. It's a great pin cushion, and so much prettier than my current cushion - a teddy bear! lol

Thanks for stopping by my blog. :-)

    Happy Sewing,
