Quilt Update: Halfway There!

Wednesday, December 7, 2011

Just finished pinning the first layer of the quilt together.  Next I have to stitch it to the muslin
and add the second layer on top.  Hopefully I can finish the whole thing up over the
weekend and have something to show by Monday : )  I can't stress to you enough on
how much I love this fabric!

  1. Gorgeous fabric indeed. Are you using a pattern or just free stylin' it? Looks amazing!

  2. I'm using the pattern from Amy Butler's book In Stitches. It's the Decorative Patchwork Throw.

  4. So fun Tori!! Love all the play on color and pattern! This is the best part, right? When everything starts to take shape and you start to see the final results all come together! You're making me want to start one....hhmmm :)

  5. Can't wait to see the finished piece, but am enjoying the process with you. The colors and patterns are so vibrant and alive. I've never made a quilt, but would love to learn someday. For now, I'll live vicariously through you ;).

  6. I've always wanted to do a quilt, but I think I'm too chicken to actually admit it! I mean, what if I run out of attention span halfway through it??? (c: Yours is looking great! Can't wait to see the finished product!
