Vintage Sewing...A collection

Thursday, June 7, 2012

The more I continue to sew the more my curiosity grows about the actual craft of sewing.  I've been   thinking about starting a little collection of vintage sewing knick knacks and displaying them around the house.  Plus, I like the fact that it looks all Pottery Barn like!  : )

How cool is the pencil sharpener?!?

So, what do you collect?

  1. Ah, yes, I used to collect pretty thread and embroidery string. I can understand its attraction. Now, it's pretty paper, stationery, and art supplies.

    1. I think I do have a slight addiction to art supplies and anything paper related really : )

  4. So cute, such a great idea!! I collect - lots of things. Cute mugs, aprons, paint samples, cool flyers/business cards/menus... AND I finally found a way to display my aprons so that I don't need to keep them locked up in a closet. Blog post to come, but I'll let you in on my secret - a free-standing wooden coat rack :) So excited.
