I recently watched a documentarty on Mickey Drexler the man behind J. Crew. It originally aired back in May 2012 on CNBC but I'm just now seeing it for the first time. If you haven't checked it out and you're planning on starting a business, own a business, or a fan of J.Crew then you should definitely watch it. It's full of insightful business tips, advice, and tons of behind the scenes footage on how J.Crew operates. I jotted down a lot of notes from this documentary but the quote above is perhaps my favorite bit of advice from the man himself.
You know this doc is right up my alley. I'm definitely going to check it out. I love this quote. I can only imagine what other bits of advice and inspiration Mr. Drexler has to offer.

ReplyDeleteOkay, now I want to see this. I love behind the scenes peeks like this, and I could definitely use some inspiration. My family won't agree. Maybe the boys need a road trip. ;) I watch enough King of the Hill episodes with them, right?
