Bohemian Inspired Zip Pouches (Sneak Peek)

Friday, March 16, 2012

I was hit by a wave of creativity last week so I took a few days off from reading blogs and blogging to just listen.

When I made the decision to start a handbag business a couple of years ago, I knew I wanted to make a bag/pouch that had a bohemian flare to it and I wanted it to look like a treasure that one has picked up from traveling to a distant land. That idea finally hit me and this is what came of it.

My number one goal for making and selling things (aside from that burning desire to be an entrepreneur) is to add a bit of happiness to someone's day.  Every time I look at these pouches that's exactly what it does for me.

I'm gearing up to open my shop in the early part of spring and I'm so excited to stock my virtual shelves with these pouches : )

  3. I love these, especially the navy and fuchsia combination. Congratulations on working your way to getting the shop launched. Just imagine, in no time all your hardwork will pay off.
The act of taking a break and taking time to listen is really inspiring, T. I really need to do it more. Hope you're having a great weekend!

  4. Teri! I missed you last week, but so glad to see that this is the reason why you took some time off! These are so beautiful and yes happy, indeed! I love the navy (almost IKAT) print with the fushia! And the scalloped edges? LOVE! I would love to help you (if you need) with photographing your products for your shop, or creating a look book of sorts? These would be so fun a playful in a photo shoot! I'm here for you!!

  5. Oh, they're gorgeous! I took a peek yesterday, but the pictures wouldn't load for some reason, and that was SO frustrating. It was like a little promise held just out of reach! My husband is a scientist and he talks about how it's important to remember that the failed experiments teach him as much as the successful ones. I think breaks do the same thing, you know? Glad you're back and feeling so energized!
